Dienstglas 6x30 E. LEITZ WETZLAR H/6400 WW2 Binoculars German Eagle on Eyepiece
LEITZ WETZLAR H/6400 WW2 German Binoculars. This estate find features WW2 German binoculars marked Dienstglas 6x30 E. They are presented in the condition they were found, with the body wrapped in wood grain tape. There is a partial strap and multiple nicks and scrapes on the exterior. The lenses remain bright, although there is some fog around the edges, but the optics are still crisp. Notably, there are three intentional notches on the bridge, (see photo 9) which may be a tally of some sort. Both eyepieces (photos 4-6) display an emblem resembling the German eagle with some writing. Despite their weathered appearance, these binoculars are operating well for their age and feel solid. Please see the photos for additional details.
