This unit is turning on and emits faint green glow(pictured) when pointed at a lighted area at night, but otherwise does not appear to be in fully functioning condition. The residual LED IR illuminator is turning on when the switch is turned to "IR". Cosmetically, it is in great shape and the glass is clean. This night binocular is an optronic device, which principle of work is based on the transformation of infra-red beams, invisible by the eyes reflected from objects, in the seen image with the help of the electron-optical converter. For work in conditions of very low light exposure in the field-glass is stipulated with infra-red illuminator.
