WWII Carl Zeiss Jena Dienstglas 7 X 50 Binoculars German Military BLC
Up for sale is a WWII Carl Zeiss Jena Dienstglas 7 X 50 Binoculars German Military BLC!!! These binoculars are in acceptable condition, being somewhat functional but having some issues.
The optics are not clear and there is a good amount of haze/fog on both sides with the right side being the worst and being almost unable to see through (photos through view show left side first and then right side). The left side is still foggy but you can see through it. The binoculars themselves have been stored well and cosmetically have some general to moderate signs of wear with nothing too major.
The binoculars are missing the eyepieces on both sides but you can still look through them. Luckily, there is no rust.The leather storage case has some general to moderate signs of wear from storage and age such as scrapes here and there and some leather cracking or missing in places as well as a broken/missing buckle and a broken strap, as in the top is not secured. The case is original to the piece.
Acceptable condition binoculars overall, still highly collectible but could use some restoration work if that's your thing! It all weighs in at 3 pounds, 11.0 ounces total. Any questions just ask, thanks for looking!
